Prof. Michael Rotert was majorly involved in the Establishment of Internet connections in Germany (1984), France (1986), and China (1990). He founded various Internet Service Providers and worked as Managing Director of those. These days Prof. Rotert holds numerous memberships and mandates, such as the Honorary President of eco e.V. – Association of the Internet Industry, and Expert for the European Commission.
